William Foley Named Executive Chef

At Marriott Hartford Downtown and VIVO

 Hartford, Conn.   The Marriott Hartford Downtown, located at 200 Columbus Boulevard in Hartford, Conn., is pleased to announce the appointment of William Foley to Executive Chef of the AAA Four-Diamond hotel and Zagat rated restaurant, VIVO.   In his new role, Chef Foley will be responsible for the menu creation and daily culinary operations of VIVO and for all food departments throughout the hotel, including room service and banquets.

An award-winning Chef and member of International Chaine De Rotisseurs for Fine Cuisine, Foley has honed his culinary talents at a wide array of restaurants and hospitality establishments.  Most recently, Foley served as the Executive Chef of Hofbrauhaus, an authentic Bavarian restaurant in West Springfield, Mass., where he oversaw all culinary operations including menu creation and food production.  Prior to Hofbrauhaus, Chef Foley was the Director of Culinary Services at the Sheraton Bradley Hotel in Windsor Locks, Conn., and also served as Executive Chef for the Hampden Country Club in Hampden, Mass.
